1996 BA in Anthropology. University of Texas at Austin. Emphasis also in archaeology.

Professional History

1999: Art Deco ceiling and wall murals in dining room, Pescadero Point Trust, Pebble Beach, CA., casein on plaster, 2000 sq. ft. c. 1925. Work performed under contract with Fine Art Conservation Laboratories, Santa Barbara, CA. Scott M. Haskins, Conservator. As a conservation technician, work was performed under the direction of Scott M. Haskins, conservator, Jim Alkons, conservator and Richard Salas, conservator. Working with a team of conservators and technicians, participation on this project was divided into two parts:

Extensive treatments of 6 large murals, oil paint, gilt and inclusions on canvas. Treatment
included cleaning, lining, rip repair, fills, inpainting, varnishing.  Assisted also in the installation of the murals on canvas (previously removed in 1980) into their original locations.

Extensive inpainting on the ceiling paintings (casein on plaster) performed on location.

1998 Lihou Priory Excavation, Lihou Island, Guernsey, XI – XII centuries. In addition to excavation duties, documentation of finds and assisted site conservator with stabilization treatments.

1997 Alton Bowman Studio, Flower Mound, TX. Worked as a conservation intern. Business specializes in fine antique furniture conservation, XVII – XVIII centuries. Provided assistance to conservators with cleaning, coatings, documentation (written and photographic).

1996 Art Restorations Inc. Dallas TX. Worked as a conservation intern. Business specializes in the conservation of decorative objects

1996 Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas TX.. Tour guide

1996 Belize Mayan Excavation, Orange County Belize, University of Texas, Austin, TX. On site work experience included excavation techniques, documentation procedures, cleaning and stabilization of finds with site conservator.
