Special Projects
Aug
1999 to Dec 1999 Kimo Theater, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Worked as
Conservator and Project Manager for contract through Kronkright Center
for Cultural Materials, Inc. The project included the supervision of other
conservators, assistants and technicians in the conservation of plaster
reliefs and painted surfaces. Treatments included overpaint removal,
cleaning, smoke damage, fills, inpaint, varnishing. Duties also included
administration of the on site work and documentation.
1999
School of American Research, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mural conservation
project contracted with Steven Prins and Company. On site conservation
services incl. flattening of rolled canvas, cleaning, remounting.
1999
Four large paintings done in lab at Steven Prins and Company for
Bishop’s Lodge, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Conservation services included
cleaning (incl.overpaint removal), consolidation, filling, inpainting,
varnish.
