Professional History

Spring 1999 to present: Fine Art Conservation Laboratories, Santa Barbara, CA. As a conservation technician, worked under the direction of Scott M. Haskins, conservator, Jim Alkons, conservator and Richard Salas, conservator.

Art Deco ceiling and wall murals in dining room, casein on plaster, 2000 sq. ft. c. 1925, Pescadero Point Trust, Pebble Beach, CA. Working with a team of conservators and technicians, extensive on site treatments included; the removal of 4 layers of overpaint from the original ceiling murals, paint consolidation, surface cleaning, and extensive inpainting.  Also assisted in the installation of 6 large wall murals on canvas (previously removed in 1980) into their original locations.

1990 to 1999 Contract work with Richard Salas, conservator, on the conservation of wooden objects, frames and gilt surfaces. Treatments included consolidation, cleaning, fills, inpainting, coatings.
