PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

their materials, condition, and potential for conservation treatment.

processing, records maintenance, documentation, files, billing and
invoicing).
Prepared written reports of surveys, advising client
institutions about collection care, climate control, priorities for
treatment of individual works, on-site storage and display.
Advised clients of funding and development opportunities.
Prepared grant applications (NEA, N.C. State Grants) with client
development officers.
Trained client staff hi art handling, exhibition security,
and safe storage practices.
Prepared and distributed bibliographies for further study
of conservation and art history.

Collaborated with museum communications department and

maintaining the intent of the artist. Examined and treated large mural
paintings in situ. Treated paintings by European and American artists in
the conservation laboratory. Framed and unframed works of art. Repaired
minor damage on picture frames. Arranged safe storage and transport of
